FALL BREEZE AND AUTUMN LEAVES

I am thankful for the nights that turned into mornings, friends that turned into family, and dreams that turned into reality.Today be thankful and think how rich we are. Our family is priceless, our time is gold, and our health is wealth. There is always something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving.  Even if it’s just not being a turkey. Why did the band hire a turkey as a drummer?  Because he had the drumsticks! What’s the best thing to put into pumpkin pie? Your teethWhich side of the turkey has the most feathers? The outside! What key has legs and can’t open doors? A turkey! It is not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy.Full plates, full house, full hearts.I like winter, spring is  nice; let’s skip summer and do fall twice.Let our lives be full of both thanks and giving.Thankfulness is measured by the number of words. Gratitude is measured by the nature of our actions. What if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday. The things you take for granted … someone else is praying for.Let us come before Him with Thanksgiving. Psalms 95:2Pumpkin spice and everything nice. It’s a new season. A perfect opportunity to do something new, something bold, something beautiful.I still fall for you everyday.Life is full of give and take. Give thanks and take nothing for granted.Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread and pumpkin pie.Thanksgiving dinners take 18 hours to prepare. They are consumed in 12 minutes. Half-times take 12 minutes. This is no coincidence.May your turkey be plump, may your potatoes and gravy have never a lump, may your pies take the prize. And may your Thanksgiving dinner stay off your thighs. It’s not the “minutes” spent at the table that put on weight, it’s the “seconds”.To succeed in life, you need three things: A wishbone, a backbone, and a funny bone.   -RebaGobble gobble til you wobble wobble.I’m a little pumpkin, fat and round. I grow on a vine and I sit on the ground. When you love what you have you have everything you need.Happy Thanksgiving.A special thank you to Twinda and Terry for helping me make this fall kitchen theme possible.  I am so thankful for you.
