It’s nice to see how well the scarecrow and crows are getting along. There’s plenty of corn to go around.
The dinner plates represent the garden of corn and other vegetables that the scarecrows are smiling about.
The centerpiece is full of happy scarecrows accented by sunflowers and burlap.
The napkin is folded into a scarecrow sporting a wood belt (napkin ring), a straw hat and a sunflower boutonniere. If you look real close at his face (the spoon) you’ll see your reflection (upside down).
The stemware is also dressed for the occasion.
Wonder what “corny” conversation they are having?
The burlap flowers give the centerpiece more texture.
The burgundy ribbon reminds me of the patches on the scarecrows overalls. I found these vintage corn skewers at a yard sale over the summer.
The vegetable accessories and napkins compliment each other.
I cross pollinated the theme into the foyer and living room.
I love how the crow and marble lamp look together.
A silly scarecrow sits on top of the lampshade smiling from “ear” to “ear”.
Believe it or not, the table runner is actually paper napkins.
More attention to details in the curio cabinet given to me by my grandparents.
On the “corn”-er cabinet sits Papa Crow, so handsome in his straw hat.
A tablecloth is repurposed as a throw to continue the theme.
So glad you stopped by….I love to hear your sweet and encouraging comments. Awww “shucks”…. It just makes me happy!
